Sacred Valley Tour
Itinerary
Every day (9am-6:30pm) We will meet at the agency at 8:30am. Next, the bus will come to pick us up and go to Pisaq (approximately 50 minutes). During the trip from Cusco to Pisaq we will stop at a natural viewpoint where we can see the entire Sacred Valley.
The Sacred Valley was, without a doubt, a key area of the Inca settlement; Its combination of pleasant climate and fertile plains grant an unusual abundance to the high Andes.
Later, we will head towards Pisaq typical market which is undoubtedly the most famous craft markets in all of South America and visit the archaeological site of Pisac 2950 meters above sea level. In the ruins you can see an art of stone works and impressive agricultural terraces. After the visit to Pisaq we will continue our trip to Urubamba where we will stop for lunch. Afterwards we will continue driving to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo 2,700 meters above sea level, an important Inca construction built during the heyday of the Inca. This is an extraordinary Inca place where in addition to the ruins you can also see an impressive rock formation that represents the Inca god Wiracocha. And finally we are going to visit Chinchero 3762 meters above sea level. Then, we will return to Cusco arriving approximately 6:30 pm.
