ATV Moray and Maras 1 day
Itinerary
DAY 1:
We will pick you up at the agency at 06:50 am. Then, once the group is together, we will go by bus to the town of Cruzparta to take the four-wheeled 1:30 hour round trip visit to the town of Moray, passing through different towns such as the attractive town of Chinchero and also having the view of mountains. snowfalls and hanging glaciers such as the Salkantay, and the Urubamba mountain range, upon reaching the town of Maras you will notice very old buildings that date back to the colonial era and you will also notice that almost every old house has furniture shields since once in the past lived the Inca royalty, along with the Spanish nobles who controlled the salt mine business. Then we will go to the archaeological site of Moray, which is a complex of circular terraces, where in the time of the Incas they were used for agricultural experimentation because the terraces have different temperatures. After visiting Moray we will head towards the salt mines which are actually a spring of salt water and the salt water runs through a main channel and flowing to others thus filling the small drying pits, where once full we only wait for evaporation. from salt water obtaining the mineral for human and animal consumption. After visiting the entire route we will head back to the city of Cusco approximately 3:30 p.m.
